ONE TREE Martial Study Groups

A goal of One Tree has always been to offer legitimate and respected certification in our study and interpretation of the One Tree Philosophy. 

The One Tree's organization, as well as its curriculum and proficiency certification via its rank testing, is structured to provide approved expert instruction.

To insure quality of instruction and accurate learning, be aware that membership into One Tree provides its members with unique advantages that other martial, healing, or esoteric traditions do not.  So, if you don’t want or expect to be challenged —physically, cerebrally, or emotionally—to apply yourself with self-discipline to better yourself, then the One Tree may not be for you.  But… if its authentic wisdom and skill you desire as a true warrior, that One Tree may be just what you are looking for.

Looking to expand beyond commercial and tournament martial arts? Looking to enhance an already established foundation in martial or healing arts? Unsatisfied with the level of training in martial arts that modern society sees as “traditional”? Want to be part of something deeper and more meaningful? No One Tree instructors or study groups in your area?

Three or more local members may also form a Martial Study Group. The One Tree concept of Martial Study Groups is a means for exploring revitalized martial arts traditions through constant long distance contact of a system Master via internet, suggested books, and DVD training.  Study Groups are independent collectives of members actively employing the One Tree system in regular practices or classes. Group members act as a local club or chapter working toward eventual accreditation and licensure in teaching the One Tree system. Study Groups typically will reflect members having received some official instruction in approved One Tree workshops, seminars, and courses. A purpose of Study Groups are to allow members not just to practice or work out together, but help prepare one for certification testing. 

Testing for the involved One Tree levels are separate and coordinated bi-annually by the organization’s Root Masters.

Those interested in joining a Study Group already established must receive permission from the main organization; those wishing to start their own study group must be registered with the main organization.  Click HERE to inquire about Martial Study Groups.
